Swiss Star Stone Prong Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount handcrafted by Jim Rice. This striking specimen is a section of the NWA 869 chrondrite meteorite, and it obtains its distinctive, gold-colored sparkle from tiny chrondrules, which are almost perfectly spherical mineral droplets. Creating an additional glimmer are flecks of nickel and iron, providing a simple yet eye-catching contrast and shimmer. This piece is literally out-of-this-world, and Mr. Rice has skillfully captured this beautiful occurrence in this setting stamped with his initials, placing a wearable frame around this piece of natural artwork. 51mm x 31mm.
