Pyratized Ammonite Section Prong Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount hand-forged by Jim Rice. Hailing from Russia, this specimen is a fossil of an ammonite, an extinct sea creature that had a chambered shell. In this instance, pyrite crystals have formed in the hollow chambers, creating a dazzling textured sparkle in the light. Each prong of this setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this one-of-a-kind pendant stamped with the artist's initials. 54mm x 27mm.
