Turtle Old Man
Manto Huichol Obsidian Prong Mount
Manto Huichol Obsidian Prong Mount
Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount handcrafted by Jim Rice. Hailing from Mexico, this awe-inspiring piece earns its name from the Huichol (whey-COLL) people of northwestern Mexico. Also known as velvet obsidian, this deep-olive-green piece displays feathery, multicolored patterns including varying shades of green and blue. This material is truly a naturally occurring glass, formed as a result of volcanic activity, adding to its wonder and intrigue. The hauntingly beautiful waves and whisps of chatoyant colors set this piece apart from other varieties of obsidian, earning it its place in our 30th Anniversary Collection. Each prong of this .999 fine silver setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this one-of-a-kind pendant. In addition to the artist's initials and the .999FS quality mark, this setting has been stamped "3X" to designate that it belongs to our 30th Anniversary Collection. Finished dimensions: 78mm x 39mm.
