Kabamba Jasper Wire Wrap

Hand-wrapped with 24-36in. of .999 fine silver wire by Jim Rice. Despite its name, this remarkable specimen is not technically a jasper; rather, it is a fossil stromatolite, which is a formation created by microorganisms similar to a combination of algae and sponges. When fossilized and then polished as they are in this pendant, they reveal intriguing, curved patterns. Though predominantly dark green, this pendant also displays a lighter cloud-like formation flowing across its center, providing additional eye-catching dimension for this striking piece. Like most of our wire wraps, this pendant is reversable, with both sides showcasing these remarkable fossil formations. 58mm x 44mm.
