Kabamba Jasper Pendant

Set in .925 sterling silver by Cindy Rice. Despite its name, this remarkable specimen is not technically a jasper; rather, it is a fossil stromatolite, which is a formation created by microorganisms similar to a combination of algae and sponges. When fossilized and then polished as they are in this black-and-green pendant, they reveal intriguing curved patterns. The medium size of this pendant makes it an excellent addition to any collection without incorporating too much weight or overwhelming dimensions. 27mm x 15mm.
