Kabamba Jasper Pendant

Set in .925 sterling silver by Cindy Rice. Despite its name, this remarkable specimen is not technically a jasper; rather, it is a fossil stromatolite, which is created by microorganisms similar to a combination of algae and sponges. When fossilized and then polished as they are in this light-and-dark green pendant, they reveal intriguing curved patterns. The dainty size of this piece makes it an excellent addition to any collection without incorporating too much weight or overwhelming dimensions. 19mm x 14mm.
