Handcrafted in .925 sterling silver by Paxton Rice. Hanging 60mm long to the lowest bead, this lovely accessory is ideal for tastes that prefer a longer dangle without the use of statement jewelry. Despite its name, this remarkable specimen is not technically a jasper; rather, it is a formation of fossil stromatolite, which is a microorganism similar to a combination of algae and sponges. When fossilized and then polished as they are in these 6mm green-on-black beads, they create intriguing, curved patterns. These beads have been individually hand-selected by Mr. Rice for a high-quality match. Each bead rotates freely on its wire, adding movement and depth to this unique pair of earrings.
