Hailing from Kenya, this chestnut-brown piece earns its name from the striking gold-to-bronze sheen that shines across its surface as the light hits it. This shimmering feature is created by naturally occurring inclusions of hematite, ilmenite, and rutile and is splendidly accented by the detailed carving of flowers and leaves playing across the face of this piece. This eye-catching glimmer, combined with these high-quality carvings, set this piece apart from other sapphires, earning it its place in our 30th Anniversary Collection. Each prong of this .999 fine silver setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this one-of-a-kind pendant. In addition to the artist's initials and the .999FS quality mark, this setting has been stamped "3X" to designate that it belongs to our 30th Anniversary Collection.
