Garnet Crystals in Limestone Matrix Prong Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount hand-forged by Jim Rice. This unique specimen showcases the beautiful multiple shades of brown found in garnet accented by the light color of its matrix. Although the front, back, and sides of this piece have been polished flat, the shapes of the crystals inside the matrix naturally occur in the polyhedral formations seen here. Each prong of this setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this pendant stamped with the artist's initials. 53mm x 28mm.
