Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount hand-forged by Jim Rice. This striking specimen features light brown patterns accented by a dark, almost black, background. Stromatolite is an intriguing formation created by microorganisms similar to a combination of algae and sponges that, when fossilized and then polished as it is in this piece, reveals beautiful layer and depth within itself. Each prong in this setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this pendant stamped with the artist's initials. 73mm x 44mm.
