Fossil Ammonite Prong Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount hand-forged by Jim Rice. This specimen is a fossil of an ammonite, an extinct sea creature that had a chambered shell. In this instance, the fossil contains a lovely spiral of warm golden- and bronze- colored chambers separated by chocolate-brown seam lines. Each prong in this setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this pendant stamped with the artist's initials. 55mm x 33mm.
