Cotton Candy Agate Prong Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount handcrafted by Jim Rice. Hailing from Chihuahua, Mexico, this unique material is technically a variety of brecciated red-hued-peach jasper naturally bound with gray-blue agate and pockets of drusy quartz. First discovered in 2017, this stone is relatively rare. This lovely piece was cut and polished by Mr. Rice at a week-long class he attended at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in July of 2026. He noted that throughout the lengthy process of sawing, shaping, and polishing the stone, he could see his cabochon becoming more and more elegant. For reference, we have included an image of an unpolished slice of this material, taken from the same slab as this piece, next to the finished pendant. The novel nature of this stone, combined with its pleasant warm-on-cool color pattern and remarkable gemological features, earns it its place in our 30th Anniversary Collection. Each prong of this .999 fine silver setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this one-of-a-kind pendant and excellently highlighting the beautiful drusy edge at the top of this piece. In addition to the artist's initials and the .999FS quality mark, this setting has been stamped "3X" to designate that it belongs to our 30th Anniversary Collection. Finished dimensions: 53mm x 34mm.
