Colorado Black Petrified Wood Prong Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount handcrafted by Jim Rice. Hailing from Colorado, this variety of petrified wood is incredibly rare, as only one small log has ever been found. in 2002, Mr. Rice purchased the only two pieces of this material he had ever seen and has never seen any more since then. The rarity of this variety combined with the preservation of the anatomy of the wood in this piece earns it its place in our 30th Anniversary Collection. Each prong of this .999 fine silver setting has been carefully hand-filed to a delicate point, adding to the refined beauty of this one-of-a-kind pendant. In addition to the artist's initials and the .999FS quality mark, this setting has been stamped "3X" to designate that it belongs to our 30th Anniversary Collection.
