Black Star Sapphire Foldform Mount

Set in a .999 fine silver custom mount hand-forged by Jim Rice. Hailing from India, this beautiful stone, truly more purple in color, earns its name from its uniquely reflective quality, creating a six-pointed star when light shines directly upon its face. This sapphire alone weighs 10ct, which is worth noting given the value of sapphires of this quality. This mount has been crafted using forging techniques form the cutting-edge system of foldforming, adding to the unique nature of this pendant. The excellent coloration and reflection of this sapphire are splendidly showcased in this one-of-a-kind setting, earning this piece its place in our 30th Anniversary Collection. In addition to the artist's initials and the .999FS quality mark, this setting has been stamped "3X" to designate that it belongs to our 30th Anniversary Collection.
